Vivian with Santa

Vivian had her annual trip to visit Santa. As you can see they are sharing quite a laugh, she just finished telling Santa she wanted a duck for Christmas! Hopefully she's not expecting the real thing!

Update on Baby Feagan

On Tuesday, at my first scheduled sonogram, clear pictures of the baby could not be made and there was difficulty in measuring the important parts (heart, bone lenght, etc.) so I was sent to a specialist. They called me late Wednesday evening to see if I could make the 11 AM appointment. Not a problem, other than Aaron wasn't going to be able to make it.

Nervous as I could be, my parents went with me because I was unsure of the news I would receive and didn't want to be by myself. I noticed when I dropped Vivian at school there were several cars in the parking lot, not realizing what day it was. While we were driving to my appointment my parents said they attended morning Mass and prayed for us, all of us, today is All Saints Day. Aaron sent me a text as I arrived at the doctor's office, said he was nervous, I almost cried right then... asked him to say a rosary and he said he did on his way to work.

Obviously our prayers were answered, everything is normal. Dr. McGee looked at every part of the baby, all measurements were consistent for a 20 week pregnancy. On Tuesday, it was thought the baby was measuring small, around 18 weeks, which was a bit concerning. The heart function was normal as was the blood flow with the umbilical cord. Baby Feagan was extremely active this morning, which of course is a very good sign.

Last but not least, we found out who will be arriving at the Feagan household in March. It's a GIRL!! Aaron and I are very excited... Vivian on the other hand still thinks she's getting a baby brother, going to have to work on this one since the Princess will have to share her throne with another one!

Baby Update...

Today we visited the Doctor in hope we would find out who would be arriving, no such luck this time. The technician was unable to retrieve overall clear pictures of the baby so we will be going to visit "the big guys" within the next week, not sure when the appointment will be so we will keep you posted.

She was at least able to get a profile shot, so here you go! This is all we have right now!

Trip to Destin

We all took a trip to Destin, FL with our friends Jennifer, Mark and Anthony Kenneth. We left in the evening with the hope Vivian and Anthony would sleep in the car until we arrived in Destin. They were great troopers and slept most of the way, they were ready to hit the beach at 8:30 am.

We attended the Florida Gulfarium, Fudpucker's (so they could look at the alligators), a kiddie amusement park and a day of shopping. We spent most of our time on the beach. The beach was beautiful, sugar white sand with clear blue water. Couldn't ask for anything better!

Our trip home was great, too. We arrived home at 6:00 am and think we all spent the rest of the day sleeping! It was a great trip and best of all the parents had a bit of a vacation, too. I highly suggest taking a trip with another family, there is strength in numbers!

New Addition...

Some great news at the Feagan household, we are expecting the arrival of baby #2 in March! Vivian is excited about having a baby brother or sister. We will find out October 30, who we will be expecting!

Vivian's First Day of School

Picture is of Vivian on her first day of Pre-School. She was very excited to be taking her lunch and nap mat with her. Vivian couldn't wait to see her new teacher and play with her friends.

Vivian took swimming lessons this summer. It definitely boosted her confidence in and around water, good and bad I will have to say. While she is quite the mermaid there's still a lot of work to be done!

Busy, Busy, Busy...

June has been a very busy month for us. Baby #8 arrived, a trip to Oklahoma with the cousins and a trip to Houston.

The entire family was in town for the arrival of cousin #8, Sebastian. Siena was excited and Darren was elated he's able to carry on the Family name. And Pamela was pretty excited, too!

Next we loaded up the car and headed to Oklahoma for "Camp Poppy and Mimi" to the farm. The cousins wore matching T-Shirts so we could find them easier in the crowds. We visited the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City and to the Children's Museum in Seminole. Of course we couldn't leave out the outing to Ada to visit Mompsy.

After returning home we left again the next weekend to head to Houston to visit Aaron's parents. We headed out to the beach in Galveston and had a great time. The weather was a bit windy but it has not too hot. Vivian loves the water and wasn't ready to leave, of course.

Spring Break

Vivian and I went to the farm with Poppy, Mimi and the cousins. The weather wasn't the best, but we were able to spend some time together.
